CONTEXT
Suiteboard brings structure to how small businesses make decisions
Suiteboard is a business operating system designed to help small teams make better decisions.
It brings together different parts of a business like finance, sales, and operations into one system, so users can understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what to do next.
Instead of isolated data, it reflects how real businesses operate, with different functions working together.
PROBLEM
Effort is not the problem. Lack of clarity is.
Small business operators manage multiple roles across finance, sales, marketing, and operations, often at the same time.
While there are many tools available, information is scattered and lacks context, making it difficult to understand what is actually happening.
As a result, decisions are often based on guesswork instead of clear insight.
WHAT I DID
As a Product Designer, I worked on the overview dashboard, financial insights, CRM workflows, and AI interface.
My focus was on bringing structure to complex and unorganized data, making it easier for users to understand their business and take action.
I designed across multiple layers of the system, ensuring that insights, workflows, and AI interactions work together to support real decision-making.
DESIGN OUTCOMES
Overview- System Snapshot
The Overview was designed to give a real-time snapshot of business performance by combining key signals, active issues, and recent decisions in one place. This goal was to reduce the need to switch between tools and makes it easier for users to understand what is happening and what needs attention, so they can take action quickly.
Operational layer- CRM Pipeline
The CRM pipeline is structured around stages like opportunity, proposal, follow-up, and relationship to reflect how deals actually progress. Key details are kept within each stage so users can understand deal status without switching contexts and quickly see what needs attention.
Financial Health
The financial analytics dashboard was designed to make QuickBooks data easier to understand within the product, since the raw data is often dense and hard to scan. I structured it into KPI cards, charts, and tables to highlight key metrics first and keep detailed information accessible when needed.
Intelligence Layer- AI for Decision Support
Designed a multi-agent AI chat interface to help users get guidance across different areas of the business without relying on multiple tools or expertise. Each agent represents a function like sales, marketing, or finance, providing more relevant and structured responses instead of generic answers. This was done to make it easier for users to understand situations and decide what to do next with more confidence. The huddle feature brings inputs from different agents into one place, so users can see all perspectives together instead of switching between conversations.
